The short version: it's free, your stuff stays yours, be decent with the shared parts, and we'll be straight with you about the rest.
We Pack Together keeps shared packing lists for trips and events. Using it means agreeing to these terms; if you don't agree, don't use it — no hard feelings.
The trips, lists and names you enter belong to you and your group. You give us exactly one permission: to store that content and show it to the people on the trip it belongs to — that's what the product is. We claim nothing else, and how we look after it is on the privacy notice.
People on a trip can add, edit, tick off and delete the things the trip needs — that's cooperation, not a flaw. Only enter people into a trip who'd be happy to be on it, and only share an invite link with the people actually coming.
Don't use it to harass anyone, store unlawful content, probe or overload the service, or pile in data that has nothing to do with packing for a trip. We can close accounts that do — with notice where that's reasonable, without where it isn't.
It's a free service, provided as-is. We work to keep it up and your data safe, but we can't promise it will never be down, wrong or lost — keep an export of anything you can't afford to lose (every trip has an Export link). To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to re-providing the service; nothing in these terms limits liability the law says can't be limited.
Stop using it whenever you like — the account page has a real delete, and export is always there first. We'd only ever close the service itself with notice on the site and time to take your data with you.
If these terms change in a way that matters, the change appears here and the date below moves. Carrying on using the service after that means the new terms.
